The National Crime Victim Law Institute (NCVLI) is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to this Victims’ Rights Advice website (“Website”). In this Privacy Policy the terms “NCVLI”, “we” and “our” each refer to NCVLI, NCVLI staff, board directors, interns, students, volunteers, contractors, and consultants, all of whom are bound by law or contract to keep confidential information they receive as part of their assistance to and work with NCVLI.

Only staff, board directors, interns, students, volunteers, contractors, and consultants who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. NCVLI is located in the United States. NCVLI will therefore transfer, process and store your information in the United States, which may not provide the same level of protections as the laws of another country. If any of the changes represent a material change that substantially expands our use of personal information, the changes will be posted at least 30 days prior to taking effect and we will post a prompt on the home page of our site for users to review the new privacy policy.
Our Sites and Children
If you are under 13, do not provide your personal information. Please ask your parent or guardian to fill out the questionnaire on your behalf. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child (who is under 13) has provided us with personal information, please contact us to have your child’s information removed.
